I am thankful to be back home in the new year, and to find this package waiting in the mail.
Ruminate Magazine is a beautiful promise of community and contemplation, and I’m grateful for my work to be a part of its Issue 53: Shelter. This poem, “integument,” was a difficult one to write and share, and I’m happy to see it featured here as one of the finalists for the 2019 Janet B. McCabe Poetry Prize.
